Oh yeah, 4.5 mile run today at 30 seconds over my fastest 5k race pace. Pushed after starting slow and feeling it in my shins. Once I picked the pace up pain went away. So, not sure if that is the answer but am going with that. Only running every other day and sticking to inmotionfit.com schedule to try to stay away from injuries.
Who knows, maybe I just need to run faster!
